We guarantee that you will be fully informed of each step that needs to be taken to design, price and build your project. You will be informed of the expected time frames for each step of the pre-build processes and keep you updated so you can plan with confidence.

Explanation of Works

To ensure that there are no surprises during the build process, and so that you can plan your lives better, we guarantee to explain how your project will proceed and give you an approximate time schedule for each stage.

Building Competence

We guarantee that your project will be supervised by a fully qualified builder. Any subcontractors that we bring onto your job will be suitably qualified and/or registered in their particular field. We are fully competent to complete every part of your project. In the unlikely event that we find something that is outside our experience we will seek a fully qualified “second opinion” before proceeding.

On Time Commencement and Completion

We guarantee to be on time for the start and completion of your project. In the event of an unexpected building situation or a delay outside our control you will be notified immediately of any changes to project costs and schedule. These include any changes you might want to make during the build stage.

Site Tidiness

Your site will be left clean and tidy at the end of each day. All rubbish will be properly contained and disposed of and any hazards will be properly isolated or fenced.

Security

We guarantee that where necessary your home will be properly secured before we leave your site.

Quality Workmanship

We guarantee that your project will be completed to quality workmanship standards. In the event that any part of your project is discovered to be below our rigorous standards we will put it right at no extra cost.

Fixed Price

You are guaranteed that the price on the agreement is the price you pay. There are no additional fees unless prior approval has been obtained.

No Hidden Extras

We guarantee that everything necessary to complete your project will be listed in the specifications of your project. You will get the services and products listed in your agreement. In the event of an unexpected change becoming necessary, you will be notified in writing and requested to approve before any additional expense is incurred. Should a more favourable product or method of building become recognised during the build we will communicate with you about this option and offer you a credit.

Assurance of Completion

In the unlikely event that Essex Building Specialists are unable to complete your project, you are guaranteed that another equally qualified builder will be assigned to complete your project at no additional cost.

Roof Replacement Home Protection Guarantee

We always check the weather forecast when planning any roof work. We remove and replace your roof in manageable sections and ensure that materials and team are available to complete each section before starting. Further we use waterproof felting under the battens to protect your home, and have access to tarpaulins in the unlikely event of an adverse weather event.
